Product Review - LewisN.Clark ElectroLight RFID Block Day Pack

Today I am doing a review on the LewisN.Clark ElectroLight RFID Block Day Pack

If you're looking for a super light and functional day pack, then this is the pack for you!

From the LewisN.Clark website:

• Ultra-lightweight durable silnylon fabric is water- and stain-resistant
• Large main compartment with cinch top
• External zip pocket with RFID-blocking material prevents unauthorized scanning of data stored on credit cards
• Breathable padded back and straps
• Adjustable sternum strap
• Internal mesh zip pocket and flap zip pocket
• External open mesh pocket
• 15in x 12in x 5in

This day pack is the perfect size for daily use.  I took the day pack down to the lake to use when my daughter and I go hiking.  However, once Chablis spied it she quickly grabbed it and asked if she could be the one to test it out.

The backpack comes in a variety of color combinations but we both like the red/black combo.  Chablis loaded it up with items that she uses when she takes her German Shepherd, Levi, out around the lake.  The pack is the perfect size to hold a lightweight jacket, bug spray, and some snacks in the larger compartment.  It has a mesh pocket on one side for her water bottle.  Two interior pockets are more than enough to hold her car keys and cell phone.  She mentioned that the exterior elastic cord is perfect for snapping Levi's collapsible water dish onto and she always clips her baseball cap to it as well.

Chablis keeps the day pack loaded so when she's ready to head to the lake, she's all set.  Yesterday we decided to take Levi for a ride on the pontoon boat....

The LewisN.Clark ElectroLight RFID Block Day Pack is easy to store, lightweight and holds a lot.  Chablis declared it a winner and said she'd be lost without it.  She takes it everywhere.

Check out their website here.  They have a large selection of items and I'm sure you'll find something that you would love to use.

I was given this product in exchange for an honest review.

Antique Booth Update 5-12-17

We've already made quite a few changes to our antique booth.   The biggest change is that we've already spilled over into the space next to us that suddenly became available.  I'm nuts - I know!!  We've only been moved in 3 weeks and I have no track record, but space was getting tight with all the furniture we have.  So I just took a leap of faith and started moving stuff around.  Frankly, I'm thrilled to have the larger space.  Fingers crossed that I didn't bite off more than I can chew.  We've already sold a few things so I'm choosing to be optimistic, especially since tourist season will be in full swing soon.

Louie made me 2 more shelving units.  We covered the backs on 3 of the shelves with burlap.  Wow, what a difference....

It looks better with the burlap, right?

Louie added peg board to the back of this shelf so we can hang things.  You can see the front and back of that shelf here...

Another thing we did was add 3 display racks with my hand stamped bracelets.  Nobody else at the mall is selling anything like that, so I'm hoping they will be good sellers for the summer crowd....

I know we still have a ton of work to do and we need to fill in spaces with lots of small items.  It's a work in progress.  The only thing I can do is go out and hit the estate sales.  What's a girl to do??

Bar Cart Re-Do

I picked up an adorable wooden bar cart with wheels not long ago.

It sat in the garage for a few weeks while I waited for inspiration to hit and it finally did.  Two coats of tan paint and then a layer of wax on the entire thing except for the top shelf.  Up there I applied a beer poster and covered it with 3 layers of mod podge....

I love how easily it wheels around.  It would be great for a party.  There's plenty of room for beer, liquor bottles and lots of glasses.  Cheers!

Garden Bench Re-Do

Two weeks ago we found this great garden bench at an estate sale.  There was nothing wrong with it and all it needed was a good scrubbing....

Two coats of white paint brightened it up a great deal and I did a light distressing before waxing it...

Turkey Table Re-do

We've been working hard on lots of furniture lately.  Here's a table we picked up a couple of weeks ago at an estate sale....

It got painted with 2 coats of sage paint and then I added a turkey poster to the top.  I layered it with a couple of coats of mod podge and I was finished....
